Jive Lau is a multimedia artist, designer and founder of Kowloneon. Captivated by neon’s dazzling brilliance, Jive dedicated himself to mastering its intricate craft under the tutelage of Master Huang Shan-lo, an experienced neon sign maker. This transformative experience fueled his vision, leading him to establish Kowloneon—a dynamic studio where he blends craftsmanship, art and design. Jive’s innovative works, showcased in galleries and collaborations, celebrate neon’s versatility while reinterpreting this heritage craft as a symbol of Hong Kong’s artistic heritage.
